Pilz PILZ-774530 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with functions including safety gate monitoring, instantaneous and delayed E-STOP monitoring, limit switch monitoring, and monitored manual reset. It is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. This model, part of the PNOZ XV3.1 sub-range, measures 87mm in height, 90mm in width, and 121mm in depth, with a degree of protection rated at IP40. The safety output contacts are rated at 8A for 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), 7A for 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A for 230Vac (AC-15). It features fixed screw terminal connections and is constructed from PPO housing with an ABS front housing. The supply voltage requirement is 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal), and it has a power consumption of 4.5W. The operating modes include options for single-channel operation without redundancy, dual-channel operation with redundancy, automatic start, manual start, and monitored start. It can be expanded with contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays for increased contact availability. The digital outputs consist of 3 x instantaneous safety outputs and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output, plus 2 x delayed safety outputs with a selectable time delay. It also features 2 operating modes, with or without detection of shorts across contacts, and includes 2 x digital inputs, 1 x start input, and 1 x reset input.
