Pilz PILZ-328133 is a Safety I/O unit designed for digital output electronic safety module applications. It features potential isolation with protective separation rated at 6000V between relay outputs, and between relay outputs and both periphery and module supplies, ensuring secure operation. The unit also offers functional insulation rated at 2500V between periphery supply and module supply. It supports backplane or rackmount mounting modes and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55 °C. The device, with a net height of 110.8 mm and a design code of 404Eh, includes 2 ST output bits and 2 ST status bits. It handles rated currents ranging from 5mA to 10A across various voltages and conditions, with connection facilitated by plug-in/detachable cage-clamp terminal connections. This Safe I/O module, protected to IP20, requires a supply voltage of 16.8-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and is constructed from PPE housing with AgCuNi/Au contacts. It measures 12.5 mm in width and 72.5 mm in depth, with a power consumption of 0.45 W for module supply and 1.2 W for periphery supply module power consumption with no load. The unit is designed for storage in temperatures ranging from -40 to +70 °C and features 2 x digital outputs capable of handling NO contact loads up to 24Vdc 10A DC-1 or 250Vac 10A AC-1. It boasts a mechanical durability of 10,000,000 operations at no load, with a current consumption of 40mA for periphery supply with no load and a maximum power dissipation/loss of 2.6 W. The processing time for output signals is maximized at 100 ms.
