Pilz PILZ-328150 is a Safety I/O unit designed for digital output electronic safety applications. It features two digital outputs with 2-pole semiconductor outputs operating at 24Vdc and 2A. The unit provides potential isolation between semiconductor output and module supply, as well as between periphery supply and module supply, both with functional insulation and a rated surge voltage of 2500V. It supports a mounting mode of backplane or rackmount and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 110.8 mm, a width of 12.5 mm, and a depth of 72.5 mm, with a design code of 404Dh including 2 ST output bits and 4 ST status bits. The rated current ranges from 0 to 2.5A for permitted output current, with a residual current of 0.03mA at a "0" signal and a maximum pulsed current of 12A for durations less than 100ms. Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable cage-clamp terminal connections. This Safe I/O module falls under the sub-range name of Safe I/O module, has an IP20 degree of protection, and requires a supply voltage of 16.8-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal). The housing is made of PPE material. Power consumption is 0.55 W for module supply, 0.9 W for periphery supply module power consumption with no load, and 0.65 W for semiconductor output.
