Pilz PILZ-630721 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects with an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 233.3 mm. This part falls under the Basic sub-range and features a protective height of 150mm, with an IP65 degree of protection. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of painted aluminium, with a PC cap and PMMA front screen, and is yellow in color. The maximum cable length is 50m, and it has a net width of 32.3 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 19m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm. Power consumption is max 2 W for the emitter and max 3 W for the receiver without load. It features 8 beams with a 30mm beam gap, a net depth of 36.9 mm, and can operate in storage temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C. It includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s and a resolution of 30mm for hand protection. Connection types are a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and a 5-pin M12 connector for the receiver.
