Pilz PILZ-630722 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm across an operating range of 0.2m to 19m. It features a reset and test function, with a protective height of 600mm and a net height of 683.2 mm. This unit is equipped with a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and a 5-pin M12 connector for the receiver, belonging to the Basic sub-range. The device is housed in painted aluminium with a PC cap and PMMA front screen, colored yellow, and has dimensions of 32.3 mm in width and 36.9 mm in depth. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a power consumption of up to 2W for the emitter and 3W for the receiver without load. The safety light curtain offers a degree of protection of IP65, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It features 32 beams with a 30mm beam gap, uses infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm, and has a response time of 12ms. Additionally, it includes 2 digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The device can operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55 °C and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C.
