Pilz PILZ-630727 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm across an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a protective height of 1500mm. This unit features a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and a 5-pin M12 connector for the receiver, falling under the Basic sub-range category. With dimensions including a net height of 1583.3 mm, a net width of 32.3 mm, and a net depth of 36.9 mm, it is encased in a yellow-painted aluminium housing with a PC cap and a PMMA front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. The PILZ-630727 operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 2W for the emitter and 3W for the receiver without load. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m, has a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 19m, and utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm. The device includes 80 beams with a 30mm beam gap, offering a resolution suitable for hand protection. It features 2 digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 21ms. The ambient air temperature for storage is specified from -25 to +70°C.
