Pilz PILZ-630751 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm across an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a protective height of 150mm. This unit features a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and an 8-pin M12 connector for the receiver, falling under the Basic sub-range category. The device is housed in painted aluminium with a PC cap and a PMMA front screen, presented in a yellow color. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m and has dimensions of 233.3mm in height, 32.3mm in width, and 36.9mm in depth. The sensing distance spans from 0.2m to 19m with an infrared LED light source at a wavelength of 950 nm. Power consumption is max 2.5W for the emitter and max 3.5W for the receiver without load, featuring 8 beams with a 30mm beam gap. It offers a degree of protection of IP65 and operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal). The device includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 9ms and is capable of manual/automatic restart, EDM reset, and has a storage temperature range of -25 to +70°C.
