Pilz PILZ-630766 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm across an operating range of 0.2m to 19m. This unit features a 900mm protective height and is equipped with a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and an 8-pin M12 connector for the receiver. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 983.2 mm, a net width of 32.3 mm, and a net depth of 36.9 mm. The PILZ-630766, part of the Basic sub-range, offers a degree of protection of IP65 and is housed in yellow painted aluminium with a PC cap and PMMA front screen. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum power consumption of 2.5W for the emitter and 3.5W for the receiver without load. The light curtain emits infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm, features 48 beams with a 30mm beam gap, and has a response time of 18ms. Additionally, it includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m.
