Pilz PILZ-630808 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection with a muting option. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 °C and has a net height of 1353 mm. This part, belonging to the Basic sub-range, features a design that includes an emitter and receiver pair, capable of detecting 415mm opaque objects across 4 beams. It connects via a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and a 5-pin M12 connector for the receiver. The PILZ-630808 offers a protective height of 1200mm and is encased in an aluminium housing, ensuring an IP65 degree of protection. It requires a 24Vdc supply voltage and has a net width of 35 mm and a net depth of 41.2 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.5m to 50m, utilizing infrared LED (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm. The distance between beams is set at 4 beams x 415mm beam gap. For storage, it can withstand ambient air temperatures from -25 to +70 °C. Additionally, it features 2 x digital outputs (500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 16ms / 0.016 s, with a resolution specifically designed for body protection at 415mm.
