Pilz PILZ-631030 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, featuring a muting, blanking, and cascading option with no dead zone. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 306.3 mm. This model includes an emitter and receiver pair, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects across a protective height of 300mm. It supports a rated current of 20mA-300mA for an external lamp and offers connection via a 5-pin M12 connector for the emitter and 12-pin and 5-pin M12 connectors for the receiver in the muting model. Classified under the Advanced sub-range, it boasts an IP65 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of vanished Aluminium with a PBT terminal cap, PMMA front screen, and PC cover, presented in yellow. The maximum cable length is 50m, with a net width of 35 mm and a net depth of 40.8 mm. It has a sensing distance of 0.2m to 20m, uses infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm, and consumes a maximum of 3 W for the emitter and 5 W for the receiver without load. The device features 16 beams with a 30mm beam gap, two digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, and a response time of 13ms, with a reset time of 100ms when SYNC is interrupted and 2 seconds overall. It is designed for storage in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
