Pilz PILZ-631048 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, featuring a muting/blanking/cascading option with no dead zone. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 1656.3 mm. This model includes both emitter and receiver pairs, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects. It supports a rated current of 20mA-300mA for external lamps and offers connection via 5-pin M12 connector for the emitter and 12-pin and 5-pin M12 connectors for the receiver in the muting model. As part of the Advanced sub-range, it has a protective height of 1650mm and is rated IP65 for protection. The supply voltage requirement is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. The housing is made of vanished Aluminium with a PBT terminal cap, PMMA front screen, and PC cover, presented in yellow. The maximum cable length is 50m, with a net width of 35 mm and a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 20m. It utilizes infrared LED light with a power consumption of max 3 W for the emitter and max 5 W for the receiver without load. The device features 88 beams with a 30mm beam gap, a net depth of 40.8 mm, and operates at a wavelength of 950 nm. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C, includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, and has a response time of 21ms / 0.021 s, with a reset time of 100ms / 0.1 s when SYNC interrupt and 2 s. The resolution is set at 30mm for hand protection.
