Pilz PILZ-631104 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, featuring a slim design without a dead zone due to its cascading option. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 900mm. This model comes with a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, fitting into the Slim sub-range category. It offers a protective height of 900mm and is rated with an IP65 degree of protection. The supply voltage required is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. Constructed with an aluminium housing, die-cast zinc alloy end caps, and a PMMA front screen, it ensures durability. The maximum cable length is 20m, and it has a net width of 15.4mm. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 6m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.6 W for the emitter and max 4.2 W for the receiver. It features 48 beams with a 24mm beam gap, a net depth of 32.6 mm, and offers two digital outputs (300mA) from the receiver (OSSD outputs). The response time is 11ms for cascading and 20ms, with a resolution of 24mm for hand protection. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range for storage of -25 to +70°C.
