Pilz PILZ-631141 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55 °C and offers a protective height of 300mm. This model features a slim design without a dead zone, thanks to its cascading option, and includes an emitter and receiver pair. It connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver. The Slim sub-range product has an IP65 degree of protection, ensuring durability in various environments. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of aluminium, with die-cast zinc alloy end caps and a PMMA front screen. It supports a maximum cable length of 20m and has a net width of 15.4mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 6m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.6 W for the emitter and max 4.2 W for the receiver. It features 30 beams with a 14mm beam gap, a net depth of 32.6 mm, and offers two digital outputs (500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The response time is 8ms for cascading and 20ms, with a resolution of 14mm for finger protection. It is designed to be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C.
