Pilz PILZ-631156 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 1050mm. This model features a slim design without a dead zone, thanks to its cascading option, and includes an emitter and receiver pair. It connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver. Classified under the Slim sub-range, it offers a protective height of 1050mm and is rated with an IP65 degree of protection. The supply voltage requirement is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. Constructed with an aluminium housing, die-cast zinc alloy end caps, and a PMMA front screen, it supports a maximum cable length of 20m and has a net width of 15.4mm. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 6m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.6 W for the emitter and max 4.2 W for the receiver. It features 105 beams with a 14mm beam gap, a net depth of 32.6 mm, and can operate in storage temperatures from -25 to +70°C. The device includes 2 digital outputs (500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 16ms for cascading and 20ms otherwise, with a resolution of 14mm for finger protection.
