Pilz PILZ-632021 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This emitter and receiver pair is part of the PSEN opII3H sub-range and features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end caps, and a PC front screen. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 450mm. The device connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is well-suited for challenging environments. The PILZ-632021 operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m and uses infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The device's dimensions are 454mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, allowing for a maximum cable length of 50m. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 6.5ms with beam coding and 11.7ms otherwise. The resolution is set at 30mm for hand protection, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
