Pilz PILZ-632027 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This emitter and receiver pair falls under the PSEN opII3H sub-range and features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end caps, and a PC front screen. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. The device offers a protective height of 1500mm and a net height of 1504mm, with dimensions including a net width of 35mm and a net depth of 40mm. It supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m and utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The safety light curtain has a supply voltage requirement of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and features a power consumption of a maximum of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. Connection is facilitated through 5-pin M12 connectors for both emitter and receiver, ensuring a maximum cable length of 50m. It is equipped with two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, has a degree of protection of IP65, and offers response times of 11ms / 0.011 s with beam coding and 22.3ms / 0.0223 s.
