Pilz PILZ-632043 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects with an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and offers a protective height of 750mm. This robust type light curtain features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3F sub-range. It has an IP65 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of aluminium, with zinc end caps and a PC front screen. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m and has a net width of 35mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. The net depth is 40mm. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C and features 2 x digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The response time is 11ms with beam coding and 42.3ms without, ensuring a resolution of 14mm for finger protection.
