Pilz PILZ-632066 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This emitter and receiver pair is part of the PSEN opII4H sub-range and is built with a robust type design, featuring an aluminium housing, zinc end caps, and a PC front screen. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. The device offers a protective height of 1200mm and overall dimensions of 1204mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. The safety light curtain operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It features an infrared LED light source with a wavelength of 850 nm, a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 18m, and includes two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, and has a response time of 9.7ms with beam coding and 22.3ms.
