Pilz PILZ-632068 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects across an operating range of 0.2m to 18m. It features a robust type emitter and receiver pair, housed in aluminium with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. The unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C for operation and -25 to +70 °C for storage. It offers a protective height of 1500mm and is equipped with 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver. This model falls under the PSEN opII4H sub-range, with a net height of 1504mm, width of 35mm, and depth of 40mm. It is designed to work with a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The PILZ-632068 provides two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, operates with infrared LED light at an 850 nm wavelength, and has a response time of 11ms with beam coding and 22.3ms without. It is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction.
