Pilz PILZ-632069 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This emitter and receiver pair is housed in a robust aluminium casing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1650mm. The device connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, belonging to the PSEN opII4H sub-range. With dimensions of 1654mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it is designed for a maximum cable length of 50m. The PILZ-632069 operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 18m. It utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm and has a power consumption of a maximum of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 11.6ms with beam coding and 22.3ms without. The resolution of the safety light curtain is 30mm, specifically designed for hand protection.
