Pilz PILZ-632070 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This emitter and receiver pair falls under the PSEN opII4H sub-range and is built with a robust type design, featuring an aluminium housing, zinc end caps, and a PC front screen. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1800mm. The device connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. With dimensions of 1804mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it is designed for a maximum cable length of 50m. The PILZ-632070 operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 18m. It emits infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm and has a power consumption of maximum 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 12.3ms with beam coding and 22.3ms without. The ambient air temperature for storage is specified as -25 to +70°C.
