Pilz PILZ-632071 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This emitter and receiver pair is part of the PSEN opII4F sub-range and is built with a robust type design, featuring an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. The device offers a protective height of 150mm and dimensions of 229mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. The safety light curtain operates within a sensing distance of 0.2m to 8m and has a supply voltage requirement of 18-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. It emits infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The device is IP65 rated, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water, and features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. Its response time varies between 5.9ms with beam coding and 11.7ms, and it supports a maximum cable length of 50m.
