Pilz PILZ-632090 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection, capable of detecting opaque objects with a minimum size of 170mm. This emitter and receiver pair is housed in a robust aluminium casing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 450mm. The device connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3B sub-range. With dimensions of 454mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 15m and utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The safety light curtain is powered by a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum cable length of 50m. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, a power consumption of max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load, and offers response times of 5.2ms with beam coding and 11.7ms. The device is rated with an IP65 degree of protection, suitable for various industrial environments.
