Pilz PILZ-632104 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection, capable of detecting opaque objects with a minimum size of 300mm. It features an emitter and receiver pair housed in a robust aluminium casing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. This model, part of the PSEN opII3B sub-range, offers a protective height of 450mm and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. It is equipped with 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, facilitating straightforward installation. The PILZ-632104 operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It features an infrared LED light source with a wavelength of 850 nm and a sensing distance ranging from 10m to 55m. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It also includes two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver's OSSD outputs and boasts a response time of 5.2ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without. The overall dimensions are 454mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, with a maximum cable length of 50m.
