Pilz PILZ-632245 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This robust type emitter part, part of the PSEN opII3F sub-range, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1050mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. The device is housed in aluminium with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability, and it has an IP65 degree of protection against dust and water ingress. With a supply voltage requirement of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal), it consumes a maximum of 1.5W (emitter) and 2.5W (receiver without load). The PILZ-632245 has a net height of 1054mm, a width of 35mm, and a depth of 40mm. It can operate over a sensing distance from 0.2m to 8m and uses infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850nm. The light curtain also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 13.6ms with beam coding and 91.4ms. It is designed for a maximum cable length of 50m.
