Pilz PILZ-632322 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This receiver part of the robust type light curtain operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 600mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections and falls under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. The net dimensions are 604mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. This safety light curtain has a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 18m and utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 7.2ms with beam coding and 15.2ms otherwise. The resolution is set at 30mm for hand protection, and it is designed to be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
