Pilz PILZ-632363 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This receiver part of the system operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 750mm. It features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. The connection is facilitated through a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver parts. Part of the PSEN opII4H sub-range, it has a net height of 754mm, a width of 35mm, and a depth of 40mm. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It can sense objects within a distance of 0.2m to 18m and features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The light curtain uses infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm and has a response time of 7.8ms with beam coding and 15.2ms otherwise. It is designed to be used with a maximum cable length of 50m and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, suitable for various industrial environments.
