Pilz PILZ-632366 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This receiver part of the robust type operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1200mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections, falling under the PSEN opII4H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability, and it has dimensions of 1204mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is suitable for various environments. The safety light curtain operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum cable length of 50m. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 9.7ms with beam coding and 22.3ms without. The device can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
