Pilz PILZ-632389 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1650mm. This robust type receiver part features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. With dimensions of 1654mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it is constructed from an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. The device supports a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. It provides a sensing distance from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with response times of 18.7ms with beam coding and 91.4ms. The degree of protection is rated at IP65, suitable for various industrial environments, and it can be stored within an ambient temperature range of -25 to +70°C.
