Pilz PILZ-772000 is a safety controller featuring a configurable safety base unit designed for DIN rail mounting (35mmx7.5mm; horizontal). It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with forced convection off. The unit has a net height of 100 mm and is expandable in design. It supports a rated current of 0.5mA for residual current at "0" signal, 0.1A for signal level at "1" with Ub-2Vdc for configurable auxiliary output, and 2A for signal level at "1" with Ub-0.5Vdc. Connection types include plug-in/detachable screw or spring-loaded terminals and an RJ45 female connector for 2 base unit safe connections, accommodating a cross-section range of 0.25 to 2.5mm2 for screw connections and 0.2 to 2.5mm2 for spring connections. The device's power consumption varies from 35W at no load to 192W, depending on the output of the external power supply and system supply. It features a net width of 45 mm, a net depth of 120 mm, and offers protection functions such as short-circuit proofing and potential isolation. The PILZ-772000 operates with a supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc, housed in a PC material with an IP20 degree of protection. It supports a maximum cable length of 1000m per input and 2000m overall for test pulse output, with digital outputs including 4 safety semiconductor outputs, 8 configurable auxiliary outputs, and 4 test pulse outputs. The controller has 12 safety inputs and 8 configurable inputs, featuring response times ranging from 3s for simultaneity channel 1 and 2 to 0.5s for the 2-hand circuit, and various time delays for operational precision.
