Pilz PILZ-772033 is a communications unit designed as an expansion/communication module with a CANopen fieldbus interface. It supports a peripheral device type and adheres to the CiA 301 V4.2.0 log for CANopen. The unit allows for a station address range of 0-99d and features potential isolation between the fieldbus and module voltage with functional insulation rated at a surge voltage of 500V. It is designed for DIN rail mounting, specifically on a 35mmx7.5mm horizontal rail, and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with forced convection off. The unit has a net height of 100 mm and utilizes a 9-pin D-sub male connector plug-in/detachable screw or spring-loaded terminal connections, supporting 2 points per spring-loaded connection with a 9mm stripping length. Classified under the sub-range name of Communication module, it measures 27mm in width, has an IP20 degree of protection, and requires a supply voltage of 19.2-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal). The housing is made of PC material, and the unit's net width is 22.5 mm. It communicates via the CANopen protocol and accommodates a cross-section range of 0.25...2.5mm2 / 24AWG...12AWG for various connection types. The power consumption of the module supply is 1.5 W, with a net depth of 115 mm. It can be stored in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C and features protection functions including galvanic isolation and potential isolation. The rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 30 V, and it supports transmission rates from 10kBit/s up to 1MBit/s (CANopen), with a time delay of 20ms for supply interruption before de-energization.
