Pilz PILZ-773126 is a configurable safety base unit designed for DIN rail mounting, compatible with a 35mmx7.5mm horizontal rail. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with forced convection off. This safety controller features potential isolation with protective separation, having a rated surge voltage of 2500V between the safety controller output and system voltage, and 6000V between relay output and system voltage. It supports a rated current of 6A for both 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), with specific ratings for different operational modes and a residual current of 0.5mA at a "0" signal. Connection types include plug-in/detachable screw or spring-loaded terminals, accommodating various wire sizes and stripping lengths. The unit's dimensions are 94mm in height, 135mm in width, and 121mm in depth, offering an IP20 degree of protection. It requires a supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and is constructed from PPO and ABS materials. The PILZ-773126 supports Ethernet communication, handles a maximum cable length of 1000m per input and 40km overall for test pulse output, and allows for a cross-section range of 0.25 to 2.5mm2 for flexible wiring. Power consumption is rated at 192W with an external power supply under load and 8W with no load. It features 20 safety inputs, 4 safety semiconductor outputs, 2 safety relay outputs, and additional outputs for standard auxiliary and test pulse functions, all designed to ensure short-circuit proof operation and potential isolation. The device's response time varies for different functions, with a maximum cycle time of 15ms and specific delays for switch-off, switch-on, and input processing.
