Pilz PILZ-773520 is a Safety I/O unit designed for DIN rail mounting, compatible with both 35mmx7.5mm top hat and 27mm recess width DIN rails. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with forced convection off. This unit features a net height of 94 mm, is specifically designed for furnace/burner functions, and supports a rated current of 12A for conventional thermal current, with various ratings for different voltage and current configurations. Connection types include screw terminal connections and spring-loaded terminal connections, accommodating wire cross-sections from 0.25 to 2.5mm2 for single-core flexible wires with screw connections, and other specified ranges for different wire types and connections. The Safe I/O module has an IP20 degree of protection, requires a supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and 4.9-5.1Vdc (5Vdc nominal for module supply via base unit), and is constructed with a PPO bottom housing and ABS front housing. Its dimensions are 22.5 mm in width and 121 mm in depth. The unit is designed for storage in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C, features 4 digital outputs with specific ratings, and has a rated impulse voltage of 6 kV and a rated insulation voltage of 250 V. Power consumption from the supply via the base module is 3.5 W, and it includes time delay features for switch-off, switch-on, and supply interruption before de-energization.
