Pilz PILZ-773525 is a Safety I/O unit designed for DIN rail mounting, compatible with both 35mmx7.5mm top hat and 27mm recess width DIN rails. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with forced convection off. This unit features a net height of 94 mm, a width of 22.5 mm, and a depth of 121 mm. It supports a rated current of 6A at 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), and 3A at 24Vdc (DC-13) and 230Vac (AC-15), with a blow-out fuse circuit breaker of 24Vac/dc characteristic B/C according to EN 60947-5-1. Connection types include screw terminal connections and spring-loaded terminal connections, accommodating wire cross-sections from 0.25 to 2.5mm2 for 1-core flexible screw connections and various other specifications for different connection types. The unit's supply voltage ranges from 20.4-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) to 4.9-5.1Vdc (5Vdc nominal, module supply via base unit), with a power consumption of 2.5 W from the supply via the base module. Constructed with a PPO bottom housing and an ABS front housing, it offers an IP20 degree of protection. The PILZ-773525 features 2 digital outputs (2NO positive-guided relay output; 6A 240Vac AC-1 or 6A 24Vdc DC-1), potential isolation, a rated impulse voltage (Uimp) of 6 kV, and a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 250 V. It includes airgap creepage distances of 3mm between relay contacts and 5.5mm between relay contacts and other circuits, with a rated surge voltage of 6000V for protective separation. The unit also provides a time delay of 50ms for switch-off, 5s for switch-on, and 20ms for supply interruption before de-energization.
