Pilz PILZ-775830 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with capabilities for safety gate monitoring, instantaneous E-STOP monitoring, and limit switch monitoring. It features DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 87 mm, and it supports a rated current for safety output contacts of 8A at 24Vdc (DC-1), 8A at 240Vac (AC-1), 7A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through fixed screw terminal connections, and it requires a supply voltage (AC) of 195.5-264Vac (230Vac / 240Vac nominal). Part of the PNOZ 1 sub-range, this safety relay measures 90mm in width and 121mm in depth, with a degree of protection rated at IP40. The housing is made of PPO with an ABS front, and it has a power consumption of 5.5 VA. Its operating modes include single-channel operation without redundancy, detecting earth faults in the start and input circuit, and dual-channel operation that does not detect shorts across contacts but includes redundant input circuits. The unit can automatically start once the input circuit is closed or manually start once both the input and start circuits are closed. It allows for an increase in the number of available contacts by connecting contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays. The device includes 3 x instantaneous safety outputs (3NO) and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output (1NC), alongside 2 x digital inputs and 1 x feedback input, plus 1 x start input.
