Pilz PILZ-787355 is a safety relay designed for dual-channel operation with two-hand monitoring type III C. It features DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 101 mm and supports a rated current for safety output contacts of 5A at 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), 1.5A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 2.5A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable spring terminal connections. The supply voltage (AC) requirement is between 97.75-126.5Vac (115Vac / 110Vac nominal). This part belongs to the P2HZ X1P sub-range and measures 45mm in width with a degree of protection rated at IP40. The housing is made of PPO with an ABS front, and the device consumes 6 VA of power with a net depth of 121 mm. Its operating mode includes dual-channel operation with detection of shorts across contacts and a redundant input circuit that detects earth faults in the start and input circuit, short circuits in the input circuit, and shorts across contacts in the input circuit. It offers 3 x instantaneous safety outputs (3NO / 3xSPST-NO each made of 2 N.O. contacts in series; 5A 24Vdc DC-1 or 240Vac AC-1 resistive load) and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output (1NC / SPST-NC made of 2 N.C. contacts in parallel), along with 2 x instantaneous auxiliary outputs (semiconductor outputs; 24Vdc; 20mA). The protection functions include detection of shorts across contacts. It also features 2 x digital inputs (24Vdc; 45mA) and 1 x feedback loop input for comprehensive safety and control.
