Pilz PILZ-828050 is a protection unit designed for 3-phase voltage monitoring, including overvoltage and undervoltage monitoring functions. It is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -15 to +55°C. The unit has a net height of 87 mm and supports safety output contacts ratings from 0.1A to 5A at 24Vdc (DC-1; 120W) and 1.5A at 24Vdc (DC-13) with fixed screw terminal connections. The S3UM sub-range model features dimensions of W22.5mm x D122 mm, an IP40 degree of protection, and a supply voltage range of 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal). It operates at a frequency measuring range of 40-400Hz, is housed in PPO material, and is designed for a 3-phase (3AC) input network with a 42Vac measuring voltage. The unit's power consumption is 1.5 W, and it offers operating modes including fault latching/non-latching and normally energized/de-energized modes. It can be stored within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C. The PILZ-828050 features 1 x delayed auxiliary output (SPDT-NO/NC contacts; 0.1-5A 24Vdc DC-1 resistive load; 0.5-10s time-delay selectable ON-delay energization), 1 x analog input for L1-L3 voltage measurement, and digital inputs for automatic reset and switching commutation. Its protection functions cover undervoltage, overvoltage, phase sequence, phase failure, and asymmetry.
