Pilz PILZ-890070 is a protection unit designed for true power monitoring with a relay that supports 9 different measuring ranges. It features adjustable switching thresholds for underload and overload conditions, along with customizable monitoring reaction times and start-up suppression times. This unit is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It has a net height of 87 mm and is designed to measure from 0 percent, with a rated current of 9A for measuring current. The safety output contacts ratings are specified as 0.1A-5A for both 24Vdc (DC-1; 120W) and 240Vac (AC-1; 1200VA), and 0.1A-1.5A for 24Vdc (DC-13) as well as 0.1A-1.8A for 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through fixed screw terminal connections. The supply voltage ranges from 27.5-264.5Vac for AC and 93.5-287.5Vdc for DC, with nominal values including 110Vac/120Vac/220Vac/230Vac for AC and 110Vdc/120Vdc/220Vdc/250Vdc for DC. The S1WP sub-range model has dimensions of W22.5mm and offers IP40 degree of protection. It operates within a frequency range of 0-1kHz for measuring, encased in a PPO housing.
