Red Lion 711FX3-SC is an industrial managed Ethernet switch designed for robust and complex network environments. It supports SNMP v1, v2, and v3 along with Web Browser Management for ease of configuration and monitoring. The device features N-Ring Technology ensuring a quick network recovery time of 30ms, N-Link Redundant Ring Technology for enhanced network reliability, and N-View Monitoring Technology for real-time network status. It is equipped with EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging for industrial protocol support, IGMP Auto Configuration for efficient multicast traffic management, and supports 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port VLAN for network segmentation. Quality of Service is managed through 802.1p QoS and Port QoS, ensuring priority traffic handling. Additional features include Port Trunking for higher bandwidth links, Port Mirroring for network diagnostics, and 802.1d, 802.1w, and 802.1D RSTP for network resilience. The switch also offers a DHCP Server with Option 82 Relay, IP Fallback, and Local Port IP Addressing for flexible network configuration. Security is addressed with 802.1AB-2005 LLDP for device discovery, and MAC Address Based Filtering for port security. The device has a configurable alarm output contact, supports Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts ranging from 10-49Vdc, and includes 8 x RJ45 ports (10/100BaseTX) plus 3 x Fiber optic SC connectors (multi-mode, 100BaseFX) with a 2km rated optical fiber distance. It operates within a temperature range of -40 to +70°C, features ESD and Surge protection on power inputs, and is housed in a metallic case suitable for DIN rail mounting. The 711FX3-SC is designed for Ethernet networks with 11 ports and is part of the N-Tron 700 series.
