Red Lion 712FX4-ST-HV is an industrial managed Ethernet switch designed for various network applications. It supports SNMP v1, v2, and v3 along with Web Browser Management for ease of configuration and monitoring. The switch features N-Ring Technology with a 30ms healing time, N-Link Redundant Ring Technology, and N-View Monitoring Technology for enhanced network reliability. It is compatible with EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging and offers IGMP Auto Configuration, 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port VLAN, 802.1p QoS, Port QoS, Port Trunking, and Port Mirroring for comprehensive network management. The switch supports 802.1d, 802.1w, and 802.1D RSTP for network resilience, along with a DHCP Server with Option 82 Relay, Option 61, and IP Fallback for dynamic IP management. It provides Local Port IP Addressing, 802.1AB-2005 LLDP for network discovery, and MAC Address Based Filtering for port security. The switch has configurable alarm output contacts, Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts ranging from 43-300Vdc, and includes 8 x RJ45 ports (10/100BaseTX) and 4 x Fiber optic ST connectors (multi-mode, 100BaseFX) with a 2km rated optical fiber distance. It operates within a temperature range of -40 to +70°C and features ESD + Surge protection on power inputs. The switch is housed in a metallic case, suitable for DIN rail mounting, and is part of the N-Tron 700 series, designed for 12-port network configurations.
