Red Lion 716FXE2-SC-15 is an industrial managed Ethernet switch designed for robust networking applications. It supports SNMP v1, v2, v3, and Web Browser Management for comprehensive device management. The switch features N-Ring Technology with a 30ms healing time, N-Link Redundant Ring Technology, and N-View Monitoring Technology for enhanced network reliability and visibility. It is equipped with EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging and offers web configuration, IGMP Auto Configuration, 802.1Q tag VLAN and Port VLAN, 802.1p QoS and Port QoS, Port Trunking, and Port Mirroring for advanced network configuration and optimization. The switch supports 802.1d, 802.1w, and 802.1D RSTP for network resilience, along with a DHCP Server with Option 82 Relay, Option 61, and IP Fallback for efficient network address configuration. It also features Local Port IP Addressing, 802.1AB-2005 LLDP for network discovery, and MAC Address Based Filtering for port security. The configurable alarm output contact is Normally Open (NO), supporting auxiliary contacts of 10-49Vdc. It includes 14 x RJ45 ports (10/100BaseTX) and 2 x Fiber optic SC connectors (single-mode, 100BaseFX) with a 15km rated optical fiber. The switch operates in temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C and offers ESD + Surge protection on power inputs. It is designed for DIN rail mounting with a metallic case, accommodating a 16-port network configuration within the N-Tron 700 series.
