Red Lion DA70A0F1E1E5E040 is a modular cellular router designed for DIN rail mounting with an IP30 degree of protection. This part of the FlexEdge DA70A Advance automation controllers sub-range features a configuration that includes 3 sled slots: two are designated for 4G cellular connectivity in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and one slot accommodates 2 x Ethernet connections. It supports a variety of communication protocols, including Ethernet, RS-485, RS-232, and LTE (4G), ensuring versatile connectivity options. The router is equipped with 2 x RJ12 ports for RS-232 serial connections, 1 x RJ45 port for RS-485 serial connections, 2 x RJ45 ports for 10/100BaseTX Ethernet connections, 1 x USB type A and 1 x USB type B connectors for device interfacing, and a micro SD card port for storage expansion. Additionally, it features an extension port for additional I/O's and 2 x RJ45 Ethernet ports via a media module. The device operates on a supply voltage of 12-24Vdc. Its software capabilities include a modular cellular router configuration through a Web GUI or Crimson, networking software with functionalities such as a firewall, RADIUS authentication, routing, NAT, IP Fallback, and VPN Client-Server, and automation software that supports over 300 drivers, IIoT connectors, OPC UEA, SQL Sync, data logging, Virtual HMI, and an advanced Web Server. It also incorporates IEC control software, Crimson Control, for comprehensive automation and networking tasks.
