Banner Engineering SBEX is a photo-electric sensor designed with a through-beam system for high-power, long-range applications. It functions as a scanner block emitter alone, housed in a reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (P.B.T.) casing. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at NEMA 1, NEMA 3, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. The SBEX features a rectangular shape and is capable of sensing distances up to 700ft (200m) with an infrared light color at a wavelength of 940 nm. Its response time is quick, at 10ms (0.01 s).
