Product description
PULS CD10.242 is a power supply unit designed for DIN rail mounting, featuring an aluminium housing. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C. The unit consumes current at rates of 5.4A with a 24Vdc input for a full 24Vdc output at 10A, 7.5A with an 18Vdc input for a full 24Vdc output at 10A, and experiences peak inrush currents of 8A at 25°C ambient and 25A at 60°C ambient. It boasts an efficiency of 0.940 with a 24Vdc 10A input and 0.935 with a 24Vdc 12A input. The dimensions are W42mm x H124mm x D117mm, with a 200ms start-up delay and 150ms rise time under nominal input with a constant full current load. It includes protection functions such as output overvoltage protection, short-circuit protection, and reverse polarity protection. Power dissipation/losses are 15.4W with a 24Vdc input and 24V output load at 10A, and 7.5W at 5A. The output stage capacitance is 1650µF, with a ripple of 100mVpp. It functions as both a power supply unit and a DC/DC converter with a 20% power reserve, belonging to the CD-series. The design includes galvanic isolation and a 20% power reserve, with screw-clamp connections for input. It accepts a supply voltage of 36Vdc-60Vdc (48Vdc nominal), with a rated current of 12A at 24Vdc from -25 to +45°C, 10A at +45 to +60°C, and 7.5A at +70°C, including a derating of 6W from +60 to +70°C. The network type is DC, with a rated power of 240W, and an adjustable output voltage of 23-28Vdc, featuring a 250mV turn-ON overshoot and a hold time of 4ms.
