Red Lion 709FX-SC is an industrial managed Ethernet switch designed for robust and complex network environments. It supports SNMP v1/v2/v3 and Web Browser Management for easy configuration and monitoring. The switch features N-Ring Technology with a 30ms healing time, N-Link Redundant Ring Technology, and N-View Monitoring Technology for enhanced network reliability. It is equipped with EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging, IGMP Auto Configuration, 802.1Q tag VLAN and Port VLAN, 802.1p QoS and Port QoS, Port Trunking, and Port Mirroring for comprehensive network management. The 709FX-SC also supports 802.1d/w/D RSTP, DHCP Server with Option 82 Relay, IP Fallback, Local Port IP Addressing, 802.1AB-2005 LLDP, and MAC Address Based Filtering for port security. It has a configurable alarm output contact, normally open (NO) auxiliary contacts rated for 10-49Vdc, and includes 8 x RJ45 ports (10/100BaseTX) plus 1 x Fiber optic SC connector (multi-mode, 100BaseFX, 2km rated optical fiber). The switch operates in temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C, features ESD and Surge protection on power inputs, and is housed in a metallic case suitable for DIN rail mounting. It is designed for a 9-ports network configuration within the N-Tron 700 series.
