Red Lion 709FXE-SC-40-HV is an industrial managed Ethernet switch designed for robust and secure network management in demanding environments. It features SNMP v1, v2, and v3 along with Web Browser Management for comprehensive control and monitoring. The switch incorporates N-Ring Technology ensuring a 30ms healing time for network redundancy, alongside N-Link Redundant Ring Technology and N-View Monitoring Technology for enhanced network visibility. It supports EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging and offers web configuration for ease of use. The 709FXE-SC-40-HV is equipped with IGMP Auto Configuration, 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port VLAN, 802.1p QoS, Port QoS, Port Trunking, and Port Mirroring for advanced network segmentation and prioritization. It adheres to 802.1d, 802.1w, and 802.1D RSTP standards for network resilience and includes a DHCP Server with Option 82 Relay, Option 61, and IP Fallback for efficient network management. Local Port IP Addressing and 802.1AB-2005 LLDP enhance device discovery and network diagnostics. The switch ensures security through Port Security with MAC Address Based Filtering and has a configurable alarm output contact with Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts supporting a wide range of DC voltages (43-300Vdc). It features 8 x RJ45 ports (10/100BaseTX) and 1 x Fiber optic SC connector (single-mode, 100BaseFX) with a 40km rated optical fiber for long-distance connectivity. The switch operates in temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C and includes ESD + Surge protection on power inputs. It is designed for DIN rail mounting with a metallic case, suitable for various industrial applications.
