Red Lion 710FXE2-ST-40 is an industrial managed Ethernet switch designed for robust and complex network environments. It supports SNMP v1, v2, and v3 along with Web Browser Management for comprehensive control and monitoring. The switch features N-Ring Technology ensuring a 30ms healing time for network recovery, N-Link Redundant Ring Technology for enhanced network reliability, and N-View Monitoring Technology for real-time network status. It is equipped with EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging for industrial protocol support and offers web configuration for ease of setup. The 710FXE2-ST-40 supports IGMP Auto Configuration, 802.1Q tag VLAN and Port VLAN for network segmentation, 802.1p QoS and Port QoS for traffic prioritization, and includes features such as Port Trunking, Port Mirroring, and 802.1d/w/D RSTP for network resilience. It also has a DHCP Server with Option 82 Relay, IP Fallback, and Local Port IP Addressing for efficient network management. The switch supports 802.1AB-2005 LLDP for device discovery, and provides port security through MAC Address Based Filtering. It has configurable alarm output contacts, Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts rated for 10-49Vdc, and includes 8 x RJ45 ports (10/100BaseTX) and 2 x Fiber optic ST connectors (single-mode, 100BaseFX) with a 40km rated optical fiber distance. The device operates within a temperature range of -40 to +70°C, features ESD and Surge protection on power inputs, and is housed in a metallic case suitable for DIN rail mounting. It is designed for a 10-port network configuration and is part of the N-Tron 700 series.
