Red Lion 716TX-HV is an industrial managed Ethernet switch designed for robust and complex network environments. It supports SNMP v1, v2, v3, and Web Browser Management for comprehensive network management and monitoring. The switch features N-Ring Technology with a 30ms healing time, N-Link Redundant Ring Technology, and N-View Monitoring Technology for enhanced network reliability and visibility. It is equipped with EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging and offers web configuration for ease of use. The 716TX-HV supports IGMP Auto Configuration, 802.1Q tag VLAN and Port VLAN, 802.1p QoS and Port QoS for traffic prioritization, Port Trunking, and Port Mirroring for network optimization. It adheres to 802.1d, 802.1w, and 802.1D RSTP standards for network resilience and includes a DHCP Server with Option 82 Relay, Option 61, and IP Fallback for dynamic IP address management. The switch allows for Local Port IP Addressing and supports 802.1AB-2005 LLDP for device discovery. It ensures network security through Port Security with MAC Address Based Filtering and has a configurable alarm output contact. The 716TX-HV operates with Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts ranging from 43-300Vdc, including multiple DC voltage options for flexibility. It provides 16 x RJ45 ports (10/100BaseTX) for connectivity, operates within a temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius, and uses Ethernet as its communication protocol. The switch incorporates ESD + Surge protection on power inputs for durability, is designed for DIN rail mounting, and is housed in a metallic case. It is part of the N-Tron 700 series, designed for demanding industrial environments.
