Red Lion 716TX is an industrial managed Ethernet switch designed for robust and complex network environments. It supports SNMP v1, v2, and v3 along with Web Browser Management for ease of configuration and monitoring. The switch features N-Ring Technology ensuring a rapid network recovery time of 30ms, N-Link Redundant Ring Technology for enhanced network reliability, and N-View Monitoring Technology for real-time network status. It is equipped with EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging for industrial protocol support and offers IGMP Auto Configuration for efficient multicast traffic management. The 716TX supports 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port VLAN for network segmentation, 802.1p QoS, and Port QoS for traffic prioritization, along with Port Trunking and Port Mirroring for network optimization. It adheres to 802.1d, 802.1w, and 802.1D RSTP for network resilience, features a DHCP Server with Option 82 Relay, Option 61, and IP Fallback for dynamic IP management, and allows Local Port IP Addressing for flexible network configuration. The switch supports 802.1AB-2005 LLDP for device discovery, incorporates MAC Address Based Filtering for port security, and has a configurable alarm output contact. It operates with Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts rated for 10-49Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc / 48Vdc) and includes 16 x RJ45 ports (10/100BaseTX) for connectivity. The 716TX is designed with ESD + Surge protection on power inputs, housed in a metallic case suitable for DIN rail mounting, and operates within a temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It utilizes Ethernet as its rated insulation voltage (Ui) and is part of the N-Tron 700 series, optimized for demanding industrial environments.
